The best band you haven’t heard titelt Mountain Goats-Sänger John Darnielle in seinem Blog. Und was machen die Rosebuds? Die schleppen die Drei gleich mit auf Mini-Tour. In Raleigh/North Carolina hält man noch zusammen. Klingt paradiesisch. Ganz wie die Bowerbirds (das “The” lassen wir einfach mal weg). Da werden einfach Geige, Gitarre, Akkordeon hervorgeholt, jemand klatscht vielleicht dazu und dann schreiben die “Hymns for a Dark Horse”. Mal eben so. Und was sagt die Welt dazu? Sie schweigt. Und das ist es, was die Bowerbirds provozieren. Man möchte einfach mal nichts zu dieser Musik sagen. Nicht “sprachlos” sein, sondern einfach stumm.
